Alton School is an independent co-educational Catholic school located on the North Hampshire/Surrey border, on the outskirts of the market town of Alton. It is an all through School with a clear educational and pastoral pathway for boys and girls, from Nursery through to Sixth Form.

Formerly known as Alton Convent, Alton School prides itself on its pastoral care and outstanding progress that it achieves for every child. The minute you step foot in Alton School you feel the sense of family, care and community.

We are a happy and friendly school, where we guide our pupils in finding their moral compass, in understanding themselves and what they can contribute to the world.

We know each of our pupils individually and understand how best to balance the challenge, support and encouragement that every student needs to succeed. Our A level and GCSE results are consistently strong and our pupils regularly outperform expectations at every stage of their education.

Our interactive Alton@Home Remote Learning programme has been very successful and has ensured all students have had a full and structured timetable of remote, interactive lessons using Microsoft Teams, which is ready to be used again should the need arise.
