In the Senior School, we offer an outstanding education for boys and girls aged 11 – 18 years with an extensive range of opportunities both in their studies and in their co-curricular experience of school life. While the website should give you a flavour, only a visit can give you a real sense of the welcoming atmosphere, positive relationship between pupils and staff and our purposeful approach. We strongly encourage you to come and see us, either on a formal open day or even on an ordinary school day. You will have the opportunity to speak to staff and, in particular, to meet some of our pupils who look forward to showing you their school and all that they enjoy here. Originally founded around 685, received Royal Charter from Elizabeth I in 1561 John Pitt is the new Headmaster from September 2014. Entry via school examination, principally at Year Seven and Sixth Form, but flexibility for other years. Two Prep Schools, RGS The Grange and RGS Springfield - 2 - 11 years of age Faculty: 155 teaching staff. Leavers go far and wide, including Oxbridge, Durham, UCL and all the Russell Group universities, medical schools, as well as fashion and performing arts. An increasing number look to overseas universities.

Admissions Process All pupils need to sit an entrance examination to join RGS Worcester. In order to sit the entrance examination, a pupil must first be registered. A registration form is provided with our prospectus or is available to download. The registration fee is £45.00, payable with the completed registration form. The entrance examination takes place each year, on a Saturday morning during January/February. However, late applicants may be able to sit the examination throughout the year, if space is available. Once a pupil is registered, we offer taster days so that your child may become familiar with the School. We also hold induction days throughout the academic year before entry.
