Greece Ideal for exploring the Greek mainland, Villa Christina is located on the edge of a quiet seaside village about 7 mins walk from a safe sandy beach and the village centre. Simply furnished, the villa offers sea views, balconies to relax on and a large, shady, enclosed garden surrounded by olive groves. Amaliapolis is a pretty seaside village 50km south of the lively university city of Volos and mid-way between Athens and Thessaloniki, making it an ideal base for touring the mainland and visiting Delphi and Meteora. The nearby Pelion peninsula is also extremely scenic and well worth a visit. The western side of the Pagasitic Gulf and Magnesia in general are largely undiscovered by foreign tourists but popular with Greeks. As well as the village beach itself there are several nice sandy beaches within 30 mins driving distance of the village and also scenic mountain villages.
