"Childhood is Cherished, manners matter and muddy knees are worn with pride."

At Aysgarth, pupils grow into happy, confident, kind and independent young people. Just five minutes from Bedale, Aysgarth is a Preparatory School for boys and girls aged 3 to 13 years old. It is a happy, vibrant community for boys and girls, where curiosity is encouraged, confidence grows and every child is given the time, space and opportunities to flourish. Join us for our Open Mornings and discover how we nurture a love of learning through curiosity, creativity and a strong sense of community.  Our Pre-Prep Open Day is on 6th November 2026.
