Founded in 1896 by visionary educator Lex Devine, Clayesmore School has remained steadfast in its mission to deliver a truly holistic education, and 130 years later, Devine’s founding values continue to thrive. From Prep to Sixth Form, Clayesmore offers a rich, broad academic journey. In the Prep School, younger pupils benefit from a gentle introduction to specialist teaching, regular sports, and a structured yet nurturing environment. As they progress, they gain greater independence and begin learning from passionate subject experts in areas including Science, Languages, Art, Music, and Design Technology.

As they move into the Senior School, students truly flourish as they explore a wide carousel of subjects that helps shape their GCSE choices. Our Sixth Form offers a strong selection of A-Levels and BTECs, supported by small class sizes and highly dedicated staff. Academic outcomes are excellent, and our students leave Clayesmore as confident, capable, compassionate individuals ready to shape the world.
