Founded in 1512, Giggleswick School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school in the north of England for children aged 2 to 18.

At Giggleswick we aim to support every child in their lifelong journey of learning so that they have the skills to lead fulfilling lives and make a valued contribution to society. At Giggleswick, we believe that children are far more than the grades they strive to achieve.  Our education nurtures character traits that empower pupils and equip them with skills and values that will serve them throughout their lives.

In our Prep School, we use the National Curriculum as our foundation, but are not restricted by this, allowing us to plan and teach both an ambitious and challenging curriculum that is designed to instil a lifelong love of learning. All pupils learn modern languages, can choose from 5 co-curricular activities per day, have 5 hours of sport and 1 mindfulness lesson a week.

Senior School academic standards are high across a broad curriculum and pupils are stretched, without being stressed, to achieve their personal best. We guide pupils on their journey to excel in their chosen fields, whether that’s securing a place at a prestigious Russell Group University (92% of our pupils attend their first choice university) or embarking on an exciting degree apprenticeship.
