Join us for Discovery Day at Mount Kelly – a celebration of curiosity, creativity and community, open to both current families and those considering joining our school.

Whether you’re a prospective parent exploring options or already part of the Mount Kelly family, Discovery Day offers a unique chance to experience the full breadth of life across our Pre-Prep, Prep and College.

From 10.00am to 14.30pm, our classrooms, studios, labs and sports fields will be alive with activity. From imaginative Pre-Prep play and creative art workshops to thrilling science experiments and competitive sports fixtures, every corner of the campus will showcase the vibrancy of a Mount Kelly education.

It’s a day to wander, to watch, to take part – and most of all, to discover. With opportunities to chat with pupils and staff, explore the grounds, and witness lessons and co-curricular life in action, you’ll gain a genuine insight into what makes our community so special.

Our teaching staff will be available throughout the day to talk through our ambitious academic programmes, tailored to support and stretch pupils at every stage of their learning journey – from the foundations in Pre-Prep right through to GCSE and A Level subject choices. You’ll also have the chance to learn more about our exceptional co-curricular provision, from sport, music and drama to outdoor education, and our pioneering Nature Connectivity Project, which brings wellbeing, learning and the natural world together.

Lunch will be available on site, freshly prepared by our in-house catering team. As part of our sustainability promise, over 80% of ingredients are sourced from within 30 miles, and every dish is made from scratch each day. It’s food that not only tastes great but also supports our local community and environment.

You’ll also be welcome to explore our boarding houses, where our boarders will proudly represent their houses and offer a glimpse into life beyond the classroom. With warm, welcoming spaces and a true sense of belonging, our boarding provision plays a vital role in shaping confident, independent young people.
