Moon Hall is excited to introduce Moon Hall Copthorne (MHC), a new satellite School on the Copthorne Prep campus in West Sussex. Moon Hall Copthorne is Prep only and welcomes children from age 7 to 11 (Year 3 to Year 6.) Children will receive a full mainstream education delivered by teachers who understand how dyslexic learners learn best, while fully participating in Prep School life.

Our Approach

Moon Hall at Copthorne brings the same trusted Moon Hall ethos to a new setting. Children will thrive in a nurturing environment where their potential is understood and unlocked, they will enjoy: Specialist teaching within the mainstream curriculum; Learning that builds confidence, independence and resilience; A nurturing environment where each child is known, understood and supported.

Children will also enjoy outdoor learning and play area spaces, sports facilities, performing arts and music, swimming pool and specialist teaching rooms.

We aim to host an Open day once per term to allow anyone interested in finding out more about Moon Hall and what we can provide to come and see the school in action. The Open Day is hosted by our Headteacher, Mrs Michelle Catterson and Kylie McGregor, Head of School at Copthorne Prep School and begins with a welcome and overview of the school and the support we can provide. Interested visitors are then taken on a tour of the school by our pupil guides.

This gives all of our visitors the opportunity to ask questions and to see for themselves the wonderful teaching that takes place each day at Moon Hall. As part of Open Day we also have some of our inhouse experts on hand to answer some of your questions, this includes our SENCo’s, inhouse Therapists, Academic teaching staff, school Bursar and our Transport Manager. Our Open Mornings are exceptionally busy and frequently have a waiting list for places. If you are interested in attending our next Open Morning event, it is imperative that you register in advance with our Admissions Registrar to secure your place and avoid any disappointment.
