Cothill House - Virtual Open Day 15 May

Cothill House -a boarding school where boys can be boys. Free time on their rollerblades, ripsticks or exploring the woods. Inspirational, artsy feel and spectacular drama with frequent plays and shows. Sport for all, every day. A term spent at Chateau de Sauveterre near Toulouse with total immersion in French language with most boys returning as fluent french speakers. Exits to all of the big name boarding schools. New boarding house overlooking the 1st XI cricket pitch, Bowlers, opened in January 2019. From September 2020, boys in Years 4&5 will be called 'Cothill Juniors' and able to weekly board.

Admissions Procedure: Boys visit a year prior to entry and are then invited for informal assessment (maths, comprehension etc) and interview in the January before they are due to start. Broad range of ability. Children go on to Eton, Harrow and Radley (often with scholarships) but also to many other public schools – Marlborough, Rugby, Shrewsbury, Winchester.
