Durston House is a leading prep school located in Ealing, West London. Providing an outstanding education in an inclusive, warm and dynamic environment for boys and girls aged 3-13. We have an impressive history of preparing pupils for the most prestigious senior schools in London and beyond, heading to top schools such as Hampton School, John Lyon School, Merchant Taylors’ School and St Paul’s School.

From September 2023, Durston House and Harvington Preparatory School will merge to become co-educational, welcoming boys and girls to Durston House from Pre-School through to Year 8.

Open Days

Our Open Days provide prospective families with the opportunity to meet staff members, current pupils, and ask any questions you may have about the School. We recommend booking your place in advance as our Open Days are always oversubscribed.

Visit our brand new Pre-School opening September 2023 for children aged 3+, and see our beautiful Pre-Prep, Junior and Middle and Upper School sites situated along Castlebar Road. Hear the Head Mr Giles Entwisle share his vision for Durston House and our exciting co-ed future.

Private Tours

For parents who cannot attend an Open Day, individual visits can be arranged during term time. These are held during the School Day giving visitors the opportunity to see the classes in action, with children going about their daily lessons and activities.
